From left to right are Deedee Moorman, brigadier general Colonel Paul Warfield Tibbets, Jr., and Dora Dougherty (Strother). Colonel Tibbets, pilot of the Enola Gay, taught the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) Moorman and Strother to fly the B-29, Ladybird. The B-29 was the same type of aircraft as the Enola Gay.
