Description

This edition of the New York World-Telegram featured a story of the celebration in Washington, D.C. for fifty years of powered flight. The first page featured nine photographs of notable individuals, Row 1- Orville Wright, Wilbur Wright, and Berliot. Row 2- Glen Curtiss, Blanche Stuart Scott, and William Mitchell. Row 3- Charles Lindbergh, unknown, and James Doolittle.
The other page featured a story of early female pilot Blanche Stuart Scott and her flight in a Beechcraft model.
