Accompanying caption reads "Lady Bailey near completion of her 26,000 mile flight in solo. Paris…Lady Bailey of England, stepping from her single seater Moth airplane as she landed at Villacoublay, just before the end of her long solo flight from London to the tip of South Africa and return. M. Renvoise, commandant of the Lebourget Airdome greeted her on arrival. This was the longest solo flight ever attempted by a woman and successfully completed."
